The Hague Residence – Interior Design by Studio at No. 11

Interior concept, design and project management of this residence in The Hague.

This project included: Renovation and new layout of ground floor level. Construction, new layout of primary suite, first floor. Colour scheme throughout. Soft furnishings and lighting.

With its high ceilings and historical features, we first had to work on how to make this space come to life. 

On the ground floor we switched the living room and dining rooms, giving better proportions and better light at the right times of the day to both spaces.

On the first floor, we supplied and designed a new bathroom and WC design, closing one entrance to make a private ensuite with much improved accessibility for the client whose intention at least for the first floor was to future proof their main sleeping space.

We completed the scheme with new and additional lighting and some new furniture – whilst incorporating some of the clients pre-existing antique fixtures and favourite pieces. We completely updated the colour scheme within this five bedroomed house, using warm neutrals throughout, with a few complimentary colours making an appearance.
